Customized Security
Forced entry-resistant doors are essential for protecting buildings from unauthorized access and ensuring safety. These doors serve as the first line of defense against attacks and burglaries, significantly mitigating risks. However, the appropriate level of protection varies based on the building’s purpose and location.
Government buildings often face higher risks of physical attacks, while retail and commercial properties focus more on preventing theft. Schools require a balanced approach to address both burglary and safety concerns. Residences need their inhabitants and possessions protected. The certified forced entry-resistant doors from Shield Security Doors are designed to meet these diverse needs effectively.
Various standards govern the certification of forced entry-resistant doors. In Europe, the EN 1627 and EN 1630 standards are prevalent, with some countries having their own versions, like France’s AP2. The highest standard for testing in the US is set by the Department of State’s SD-STD-01.01 Rev.G ratings. This rigorous test involves multiple experts attacking a door simultaneously and from various points, simulating an organized assault.
Forced entry-resistant doors rated FE5 or FE15 by this standard provide robust protection, with FE5 involving two professionals attacking for a total of 30 minutes and FE15 involving six professionals attacking for over four hours.

Fortress Series FE15
One of our core beliefs is that the secret to good security is to keep it a secret. That’s because security is much harder to defeat when you can’t see it and don’t know what you’re up against. Our custom made high-security doors and windows can be designed to look like just about anything, including unique wood stains, 3D millings, and custom shaped glass.

Mottura 85/87 Series Mechanical Lock
The Mottura 85 and 87 series armored mechanical multi-point locks are the most robust and durable mechanical locking solutions in the world. They secure the door in three directions with up to 20 bolts and have a unique patented design that protects the key cylinder from attack.
ekey Biometric scanner
Fingerprint scanners offer the ultimate in biometric security. They are convenient, affordable, safe, and reliable. The scanner analyses each fingerprint swipe to provide a unique thermal signature and a special code to open the door. Up to 99 different fingerprints can be stored, and adding or removing authorised fingerprints is easy.
